Situated on the southern edge of picturesque Dartmoor, Outdoor Experience has been serving caravanners since 1997 when we took over from Ashburn Caravans, who had been selling caravans in Ashburton since the early 1960’s, thus giving us, in total nearly fifty years experience in the touring caravan industry.
The company has recently expanded and we have taken on a second site at Teigngrace near to Newton Abbot in Devon, which is currently under development. Our aim is to become Devon’s premier Coachman distributor.
With state of the art workshop facilities, fully certified by the NCC and our core belief in providing customer satisfaction that is second to none, Outdoor Experience is the natural choice for all your caravanning needs.

Coachman’s first apprentices reach milestone.
Coachman Caravans’ first ever apprentices have completed the preliminary phase of their apprenticeship programme.
This formal programme is designed to last three years in total and to give the apprentices a fully rounded knowledge of each department in the Coachman factory, by following a detailed programme of practical work.

Local builder appointed to complete final stage of Coachman’s extension
Coachman Caravans, one of the UK’s leading caravan manufacturers, has appointed local building contractor, John Thompson Developments Ltd, to complete the final phase of their £3.5 million factory extension.
