Caravans with Character
With over thirty years experience in the caravan industry, Managing Director of Coachman Caravans, Jim Hibbs, was awarded the highly prestigious Caravan Industry Personality of the Year. Sponsored by specialist finance provider Capital Bank Leisure, the award recognises outstanding service and commitment to the industry.
With display cabinets at Coachman Caravans already groaning under the weight of industry awards this year, it was not just the company or its range of caravans to receive acclaim at the recent International Caravan and Motorhome Show held at the NEC in Birmingham.
On receiving the award Jim Hibbs said: “The numerous awards we have received this year are a reflection of our commitment to continuous improvement, and ensuring that our dealers and customers benefit from the highest standards of design, manufacture and customer care.”
Mr Hibbs went on to say “I am, of course, delighted to receive this personal award and greatly appreciate the industry acknowledgement it represents”.
David Ritchie, Editor of Caravan Industry said “Jim has made an outstanding contribution to the caravan industry throughout his career, often above and beyond the call of duty. In awarding the Caravan Industry Personality of the Year to Jim, the industry as a whole can publicly acknowledge many years of hard-work and dedication. Jim has and will continue to be a true ambassador for the British Caravan Industry.”
The show held in October this year proved successful too for the Coachman Caravan Company, scooping best bathroom with the Laser 590/4 and best kitchen with the Pastiche 470/2. In addition to record-breaking sales, it is clear that solid foundations have been laid for the 2007 season.
