Coachman recognised for its build quality by industry magazine

Coachman Caravans is pleased to announce that Which Caravan Magazine has ranked Coachman’s Laser 590/4 as the “best built caravan they have ever tested” in its March issue. The magazine awarded the caravan 100% for ‘Build Quality’ in its latest ‘Group Test’ – the highest mark ever achieved by a UK caravan.

We believe that our team of highly skilled caravan operatives are the best in the business and their dedication and ability is reflected in the mark we achieved in Which Caravan’s latest group test.”

Which Caravan is a monthly publication which helps people to choose and buy caravans. The magazine regularly conducts ‘Group Tests’, where a group of caravans are tested on a number of features such as build quality, value for money, practicality and styling. The magazine’s latest group test scrutinised a group of two-box-four berth caravans, one of which was Coachman’s Laser 590/4. The Laser scored highly in each category and was particularly praised for its blend of traditional and modern décor, neat exterior, good use of space, long and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and plentiful storage.

Coachman achieved its best score in the build quality category, with a mark of 10/10. Which Caravan praised the way that Coachman has matched the Laser’s high quality engineering with a high quality interior and exterior and is one of the magazine’s highest achievers ever with a total mark of 88/100.

This is the second time in one year that Coachman Caravans has been recognised for its high quality manufacturing, the first being their inclusion in James Fielding’s new book Made in Britain – The Best of Quintessentially British Companies. Coachman was listed alongside prestigious brands Hovis, Aga and JCB as one of Britain’s best manufacturing companies.

Coachman Caravans was established in 1986 and continues to operate as one of the leading caravan manufacturers in the industry. The company employs 144 members of staff. Coachman strives to produce caravans of the highest quality and provides superior after sales service. Their range includes the Amara, Pastiche, VIP and Laser.
