The New 6-Berth, Twin Axle Amara

Occupying pride of place on the Coachman stand at this year’s National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show was the Company’s stunning, new 6-berth, twin-axle Amara 640/6. This spacious and generously equipped caravan follows quickly in the wheel tracks of the intelligently planned 6-berth Amara 560/6, which was launched to wide acclaim at last year’s International Caravan and Motorhome Show, also held at the NEC, Birmingham.

Coachman’s move towards these larger models in their entry-level range has been driven by valuable feedback at both dealer and customer level. “This has been very much a first for us,” explained Coachman Managing Director, Jim Hibbs. “We now have a choice of two genuine family-sized caravans that are designed to appeal to a much broader audience. Both the 640/6 and the 560/6 variants boast practical, well-planned layouts offering ample room and a stylish, comfortable living environment for all the family. What we are hearing, loud and clear, is that the caravan family holiday is as popular as ever, both here in the UK and on the continent. People want a little more room, yes, and more flexibility too – but not at the expense of high quality build standards and good, honest value for money. This fits in perfectly with the Coachman ethos and the new Amara 640/6 continues the theme of quality that has become the Coachman hallmark.”

With the addition of the new 640/6 there are now seven Amara models in all for 2007.
