Coachman Caravans, one of the UK’s leading caravan manufacturers, will be displaying a large selection of models from its 2008 range at this year’s National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show on the 19th – 24th February, stand no. 5190. Visitors to the stand will be able to inspect Coachman’s high quality, skilled craftsmanship, which was recently recognised in James Fielding’s new book Made in Britain – The Best of Quintessentially British Companies. Coachman was listed alongside prestigious brands such as Hovis, Aga and JCB in the book, as one of Britain’s best manufacturers and greatest names in British industry.

This attention to high quality craftsmanship is mirrored in Coachman’s commitment to innovation – and the team can safely say there is now a Coachman caravan to suit every consumer preference and budget. Coachman will be displaying models from its popular Amara, Pastiche, VIP and Laser ranges at the show, including new fixed bed layouts in the Pastiche 535/4 and VIP 535/4 models, which were introduced in September 2007.

Jim Hibbs, Managing Director of Coachman Caravans is looking forward to meeting people at the NEC, and inviting them to examine the Company’s high quality craftsmanship for themselves: “Here at Coachman we aim to embody the values that James Fielding identifies as being the best of British – high quality craftsmanship and reliability. Visitors to our stand will be able to feel the quality of our caravans and understand why they stand the test of time. Our new layouts are already proving very popular and we feel our current range will satisfy the needs of any caravanner.”

He continues: “Last time we exhibited at the NEC in October 2007, we outsold most of our competitors by retailing £6 million in six days. We also experienced our best trading year to date in 2007. We hope 2008 will be just as successful, and to meet already increasing demand, we have started work on an additional 9,000 sq/ft extension to our factory, to make extra space for storage and design facilities.”

Coachman will also be displaying several special edition models at the show, on the Glossop and Wandahome stands. Wandahome will be displaying their Wanderer models and Glossop will be displaying their Golden VIPs and Golden Lasers.

Coachman Caravans was established in 1986 and continues to operate as one of the leading caravan manufacturers in the industry. The company employs 144 members of staff. Coachman strives to produce caravans of the highest quality and provides superior after sales service. Their range includes the Amara, Pastiche, VIP and Laser.
