Coachman Caravans, is on a high after this year’s Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC, Birmingham, which unveiled new models to a national audience for the first time, was hailed as an unprecedented success.

Visitors to the NEC were able to view the full Coachman collection at the show, comprising the Vision, Pastiche, VIP and Laser ranges, all of which have been updated for the new season.

But the big story was the release of the new VIP 545 and Laser 650. Executive Chairman of Coachman, Jim Hibbs, was overwhelmed with the response.

He said: “It was the first time Coachman has showcased both the new VIP 545/4 and Laser 650/4 models, and there was tremendous interest from the public with queues of people stretching out of our caravans eagerly anticipating a first glimpse.

“Also doing exceptionally well is the VIP 575/4, which is proving a particularly big hit, and has become our best-selling model. We’ve put its popularity down to the introduction of the transverse bed layout and state-of-the-art Alde heating system, which we decided to make available after an overwhelming demand from our customers.”

Mr Hibbs believes that the increase in interest was a direct result of Coachman’s commitment to innovation, design and build quality:

“We are always pushing the boundaries in terms of layout, construction and design here at Coachman. Our ability to blend contemporary styling with quality construction is something that is synonymous with the Coachman brand. Customers expect a real home from home experience from their caravan and I think we have delivered that.”

Coachman’s latest tourers boast enhanced specifications and a host of additional interior and exterior features. This season’s ranges are lighter than before and all incorporate the latest PU materials and bonded construction techniques. Coachman has also introduced a new 10-year water ingress warranty.

Jim continues:

“Customer feedback has enabled us to develop designs which fully meet the needs of caravan users, and our sales activity from this year’s show proves that really listening truly pays off!”

For visitors unable to attend The Motorhome and Caravan Show, the brand new VIP 545/4 & Laser 650/4 models will start arriving at the dealerships from late October through to December.
